College of Computing Head TA

During the fall 2022 semester, I was a head teaching assistant for discrete math in Georgia Tech's College of Computing. My responsibilities included managing 590 students and 25 teaching assistants, creating curriculum and exams, supervising grading of homework and exams, teaching recitations, and holding office hours.

For the spring 2022 semester, I was the head teaching assistant for a new course in web development. My responsibilities included assisting in curriculum design (the class has not been taught in 10 years), creating and supervising grading and grade disputes of exams and homework, and holding office hours for 3 hours a week.

I worked for 3 semesters as a regular undergraduate teaching assistant for discrete math. During that time, my responsibilities included teaching 75 minute weekly recitations for a class of about 50 students, answering student questions after lecture for a class of about 220 students, holding office hours for 3 hours a week, answering questions online on a student Q&A forum, grading and providing feedback for about 25 students' homework a week, and helping proctor and grade exams. I also attended weekly meetings and communicated frequently with the head TA and professors.
